Privacy
This site is run by Gray Bright. It is a personal portfolio and speaker booking site. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter and nothing for sale.
Three things collect data here, and this page covers all three.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits. It records which pages are opened, roughly where in the world the visitor is (city level, worked out from the IP address), which browser and device they used, and whether they arrived from a search engine, a link or directly.
It does not record names, email addresses or anything that identifies a person. Google sets cookies to tell one visit from another. Google also processes this data under its own terms, described in theGoogle Privacy Policy.
Advertising features are switched off. The site runs no ads, is not linked to any advertising account, and no data collected here is shared for advertising purposes.
To opt out entirely, install Google'sbrowser opt-out add-on, or block analytics cookies in your browser settings. Nothing on this site stops working if you do.
The enquiry form
If you fill in the enquiry form, it collects exactly what you type: your name, email address, organisation, event date, location, the format you have in mind, and your message.
The form is handled byFormspree, which passes it straight to Gray's inbox atgray@graybright.com. It is used to reply to you and to arrange the booking. It is not added to a mailing list, sold, or shared with anyone else.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs and runs its own privacy-focused traffic measurement. Cloudflare's measurement sets no cookies and does not track visitors between sites. See theCloudflare Privacy Policy.
How long it is kept
Analytics data is held by Google for the retention period set on the property, then deleted automatically. Enquiries stay in Gray's email for as long as they are useful for the conversation they started, and can be deleted sooner on request.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EU, you have the right to ask what data is held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to it being processed. Those rights apply here regardless of where you are.
Email gray@graybright.com and say what you want. There is no form and no process - it goes straight to Gray.
Changes
If what the site collects changes, this page changes with it and the date below moves.
